Waterfront Revitalization
The social structures and the architectural products are in a reciprocal dependence. In the area of human reciprocal strengthening (individual – community) the architecture reflects its contents. At Kaigan Dori the relation between architecture and human being is singularly reduced to the function of working and concentrated to a high density. The project intervenes with the context of the town and created spaces for transactions. A floating path, docked to the intersectionline of water and land is planned. Spaces and places are defined at this and on this construction. As a transition between working recreation and relation between people, a dynamic structure is gained which takes part in revitalising Kaigan Dori and removes the seperation between man, nature architecture.
